Everything about your once familiar life has suddenly changed thanks to your breakup, you are feeling empty, very vulnerable and everyone alone within the world. Time passes by so slowly which makes hours desire days, you drench your pillow soaking wet with tears nightly not knowing what to try to next and haven't any desire to urge out of bed and placed on a brave face subsequent morning.


Loneliness is one of the common emotional stages you undergo after a breakup. This stage can really throw your world into what seems like a tornado ripping through your life, it can destroy friendships you have already got which results in serious depression if not handled correctly.

You do not need to undergo a breakup to experience loneliness, some people feel lonely even once they are during a relationship, they feel albeit they're surrounded by people and their partner is true beside them that no-one really understands them and find it very hard to attach with anybody.


What are a number of common signs of Loneliness?


  • You are feeling everybody else within the world has friends and you are doing not
  • Once you are in a crowd you are feeling so disconnected from them
  • You are feeling angry, defensive, and important about everything
  • You're convinced there's something wrong with you and everybody knows it
  • You think that people don't understand your problems because they're so unique
  • You're extremely self-conscious in everything you are doing 
  • Once you do something wrong, you get extremely embarrassed
  • Afraid to speak to strangers and refuse to interact during a conversations
  • You are feeling extremely shy and frightened of others albeit you'll know them
  • Your self-esteem is extremely low
  • Feeling anxious and sad believing nobody knows how miserable and alone you are feeling 
  • You lose your ability to be assertive and feel "invisible"
  • Refuse to simply accept change and don't want to undertake anything new
  • Feeling as if nothing matters in life and contemplating ending it all


Some people attempt to numb these feelings with excessive alcohol, drugs, and meaningless dates and parties which only prolong your recovery because the pain is left unattended and can never get away until it's addressed.

It is better to face your loneliness head-on and accept that it's a really strong emotion which you would like to offer the time and space to run its course while you learn to figure through it properly.
